About Puzzle Day
Silicon Valley Puzzle Day was started in 2006 by volunteers from the Friends of the Morgan Hill Library to raise awareness for the Beyond Books Campaign which was raising money for art and furnishings for Morgan Hill's new library. Now in its fourth year, Puzzle Day has grown into a popular annual event drawing people not only from Morgan Hill but from the surrounding community and even from other areas of the country. Puzzle Day is now the signature event and main annual fundraiser of the Morgan Hill Library Foundation, an affiliate member of the Morgan Hill Community Foundation which raises funds to support the long-term needs of the Morgan Hill Library.
The Puzzle Day organizing committee is co-chaired by Emily Shem-Tov and Lisa Pampuch, who co-founded the event. They are joined by a fantastic group of local volunteers who have worked tirelessly to share this event with the community as well as many prominent puzzle constructors and experts. If you are interested in getting involved, there are lots of ways that you can help.
